Parsonage Restoration Project

Do you want to have a positive impact on a fellow NWIL congregation? We’re inviting passionate individuals to join us for up to eight days in Sandwich, Illinois, where we’ll be restoring some of the parsonage and helping with other projects that will bless this local church. Tasks will include: demo, drywall work, laying flooring, installing cupboards and counters, painting, landscaping, and cleaning. People of all skill levels and abilities are welcome! We anticipate a meaningful time of building relationships, accomplishing work, and serving Jesus together. You’ll also get to see the church’s ministries (The Diaper Closet and The Corner Community Thrift Shoppe) in action! Want to know more about the ways they are blessing their community? Project Dates

Our mission trip will be split into two long weekends. Volunteers will sign up for the number of days that they are available. Sundays will include worship at Sandwich Church of the Nazarene.

Thursday, June 19th - Sunday, June 22nd

Thursday, June 26th - Sunday, June 29th

Cost to Participate

$15 per day, per person (this helps cover the cost of lunch and dinner). When you register, you will indicate how many days you are able to serve.

Lodging

A list of area hotels will be provided to each participant. Volunteers will be responsible for booking and paying for their own lodging.
